The Children’s Ministry is a vital and vibrant part of the church that serves to build a Christ-centered, fun, and innovative environment where children can grow in their faith, build their self-esteem, and develop a strong sense of purpose in Christ. Through dynamic, engaging teaching and creative activities, this ministry seeks to empower children to embrace their identity in Christ and become leaders in their communities.

WHAT WE DO?

• Mom/Dad ‘N’ Tots: St John AME church Mom/Dad “N” Tots strives to provide families with infants and toddlers to play and pray in a safe environment and support the spiritual growth of parenthood of members with children not attending kindergarten.
• Parent Connection: The parent connection is designed to break the mold and equip families to serve, lead and build a new generation of leaders and form compassionate on and supporting family connections.
• New Parent: Navigating the new season of parenthood by, supporting, sharing of experiences, providing resources, parent day out and biblical teachings to empower and build a strong network of families.
• Parent Support Teams:times and dates of group session TBD.
