Please excuse our transformation. We are in the process of building a new campus and many of our regular program/ministry offerings have been delayed. We will continue to provide updates as we are extremely proud of the hard work, dedication, and the innovative design of the future home of St. John AME Church. (The Cathedral)

What to Expect

Mask are optional. Please note we will continue to follow CDC guidelines for continued COVID safety measures.

Worship
Our Sunday worship is engaging and eclectic offering something for every generation. We offer a diverse experience filled with hymns, prayers, traditional, contemporary, and historical music designed to bridge generational gaps and guide you into a fulfilling praise and worship experience.

Service
The worship service is a live broadcast. Quiet seating begins promptly at 9:45. You may join us for worship in several ways: In-person: quiet seating begins at 10:45am for the live broadcast. Livestream online: Facebook and YouTube at 10:50 am.

Communion
Every 1st Sunday we offer communion. Communion is open to everyone visitor or member.

Attire
Our congregation is diverse which compliments the heart of God. Our main concern is that you are comfortable and excited to share in the worship experience

Children
As we transition into a new season and a new cathedral, for everyone’s safety children should remain with their parent or guardian during the worship service. We will have special programming for the children as we approach the summer and fall seasons.

Nursing Moms
If you need privacy, please notify an usher we will do our very best to accommodate you and the little one.

Parking
If special parking is required, an attendant is available for your service. As an added measure of safety, we have safety patrol before, during and after service.
